✈️ TSA PreCheck Touchless ID Expands To 65 Airports |
Overall, airline travel is wonderful. You can get from one end of the United States to the other in hours, whereas in the not terribly distant past, it would have taken months. |
But one minor inconvenience is waiting in long security lines. We got reminded of that earlier this year when some federal budget funding lapses caused TSA staffing shortages. |
Thankfully, there are some “shortcuts” you can take. One of those, which Clark and his team have discussed for years, is TSA PreCheck. |
Well, there’s incredible news if you’re a fan. The TSA PreCheck Touchless ID program is now available at 65 airports in the United States. |
If you already have TSA PreCheck or Global Entry, instead of showing your ID and boarding pass, you just walk through a dedicated lane. The technology verifies you with a quick photo. |
These “hands-free security lines” can be huge time-savers. And you can opt in via your airline profile. You’ll need to enter your Known Traveler Number (KTN), your passport number and country. |
Make sure the TSA PreCheck Touchless ID indicator appears on your mobile boarding pass, or you won’t be able to enter the dedicated TSA PreCheck Touchless ID lane. |
The airports with Touchless ID include Atlanta, JFK and LaGuardia in New York, Los Angeles, Denver, Miami, Dallas-Fort Worth, Chicago O’Hare and more. |
